Australian companies are still under invested in the region compared with Europe, North America and New Zealand but there is an emerging group of companies with pan-regional footprints.

Linfox: Transport and logistics operations in six countries after 25 years in Asean.
ANZ Bank: In every Asean country, with local bank stakes in Malaysia and Indonesia.
Blackmores: Vitamin operations in Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.
USG Boral: Plaster board plants in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Philippines.
Bluescope Steel: Nippon Steel joint venture plants in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand.
Lendlease: major property projects in Singapore and Malaysia over 40 years.
